I discovered Matcha Lattes while doing a cleanse where I couldn’t have coffee but could have caffeine.
It was a life saver! I do love a morning coffee but when I’m off coffee this is a great substitute. I also really like to have it in the afternoon for a little lift.
Matcha Powder is a high quality powdered green tea that is best stored away from light and oxygen in order to preserve it’s antioxidant content and beautiful green color.

As a warning, there are many brands out there that aren’t pure matcha and have other ingredients and sugar added to them. My brand of choice is DoMatcha.
1/2 teaspoon high quality matcha powder
1/2 cup light coconut milk
1/2 cup hot water
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon raw, local honey
Add all ingredients to blender and blend until mixed well. Pour and enjoy!
