Patients come to us with symptoms like bloating, constipation, diarrhea, gas…These problems can affect your mood, give you brain fog, and decrease your productivity, not to mention the physical discomfort you have to carry around all day.

One of our most common recommendations for improved digestion is to switch up one of your meals with a blended one! A blended meal, like this delicious anti-inflammatory smoothie, will require less energy from your digestive system.

That being said, it is very important to make sure that you get enough nutrition, feel satiated and balance your blood sugar. For this reason, you want to follow a recipe that will provide you with adequate amounts of protein, fat, and fiber.

 

Our Anti-Inflammatory Smoothie recipe is included in our 7 Day Detox recipes and uses 2 servings of Parsley’s Rebuild protein powder. Not only will it keep you full, but the turmeric and cinnamon will aid your digestion with their anti-inflammatory properties.

PARSLEY HEALTH ANTI-INFLAMMATORY SMOOTHIE RECIPE

  • 2 scoops of Parsley’s Rebuild protein powder
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ banana
  • ¼ cup frozen raspberries
  • 2 tbs. hemp seeds
  • ¼ tsp. turmeric
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 stalks collard greens
  • Add ice or water as desired
