Dr. Susan Pilossoph, MD is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at UCLA. She worked as an academic emergency physician at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In addition she has completed certification through the Institute for Functional Medicine as well as certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Sue is passionate about preventing disease and improving conditions of patients with chronic illnesses. Her mission is to treat patients the same way she treats her treasured family and friends: with the utmost caring and respect for the whole person—body, mind and spirit. Sue takes a personalized approach to each of her patient’s treatment to uncover and address the root causes of medical problems rather than simply suppressing the symptoms. She practices yoga and meditation regularly, and also enjoying running and swimming, as well as gardening and creating delicious meals with fresh organic ingredients.
