At the start of 2015, I was really struggling. Frustrated, annoyed, sick and absolutely stressed out, I was massively failing in the health and wellness department of my life.
To just give you a glimpse – my stomach ached every time I ate, I was suffering from insomnia, my face and back developed cystic acne, and I couldn’t lose a pound to save my soul.
But more than that, the internal war that I faced on a daily basis was debilitating. I was constantly fighting insecurities about my body, defined my worth by the number on the scale and festered in shame and guilt when I wasn’t 100% perfect with my diet or exercise plan.
By the time June rolled around, I had had enough. I was done feeling sick. I was done defining my day by what I ate or didn’t eat or if I went to the gym or not. To be honest, I was just done being unhappy.
Which is where Dr. Robin Berzin and Parsley Health serendipitously stepped in.
Right from the start I knew this experience and investment was going to be different than anything else I’d ever “tried” (because let’s face it, I’ve tried it all). Immediately I felt like I was a person, not just a patient. The first time I met with Dr. Berzin she took an immense amount of time listening to my frustrations, examining my medical and emotional history, and explaining to me the subsequent course of action.
I had a plan and a support system that was going to wade through the storm with me. I felt relieved and for the first time – hopeful.

They have been with me every step of the way and for that I’m eternally grateful. Six months later I feel so free. Truly. I’m a totally different person than the one who first walked through their doors.
